11 objectives on the Study of the Socio-Cultural Life of North East India


This century has seen more changes in the world than any other time in history. The advent of electronic communications & advancement of Science has made all geographic and cultural borders permeable, with nations eager to adopt the traits of others. In such an atmosphere cultural past is becoming endangered, and with it the many traditions that make the country and its people so unique. There is no doubt that Society & culture is still an integral part of the lives and well-being of local communities.
To understand the significance of socio cultural life of North East India, a qualitative and quantitative analysis on the 11 specific objectives are determined as follows:
1. Identification and analysis of the folk-literature associated with the Social life.
2. Identification and analysis of the folk-stories associated with the Social life.
3. Identification and analysis of the folk songs.
4. Identification and analysis of the rituals associated with cultivation.
5. Identification and analysis of the festival associated with cultivation.

6. Identification and analysis of the folk-believe associated with lives.
7. Identification and analysis of the different customs associated with food habit.
8. Identification and analysis of the brahminical worship/rituals.
9. Identification and analysis of the integral part of different festival, rituals and belief.
10. Study on the process of Acculturation associated for a Rich Cross-cultural environment. 
11. To open up the way for Globalization of rich cultural heritage of North East India that flourished out of the amazing communities/tribes -that termed as the essence of Culture.
